The service includes:

A 45-minute telehealth appointment with an ABGC Certified genetic counselor who specializes in hereditary cancer and is licensed to practice in your state.
Based on the test result, specific management options and screening recommendations from the most recent professional guidelines are discussed.
A three-generation pedigree is obtained to identify family members who may also want to consider genetic testing as well as tips on communicating this information to them.
The genetic counselor will also explain if any additional genetic testing is warranted.
Patients receive a summary of the genetic counseling session within two days of the completed appointment.
